ok well i work at a aftermarket Import car shop and some kid pulls up in a 97' civic with decals up the yig yang but the decal that catches my eye the most is his NOS sticker by the rear tire on the sideskirts. I was really puzzled and started to talk to this kid about his full FG BW2 kit that he got for $150...blah blah....so then he walks into the shop and we are talking about the kit and how much it will be to paint it etc.. and i tell him about $600 painted and installed. Well out of no-where he pops the question. "How much for this NOS?" i try to keep a straight face but it was very hard to but i maintained my smile and said let me check i went to the back of the shop and me and my buddy Eddy and Shane started to laugh uncontrollably. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] i came back in and told him $560 and then an additional $160 to install it. Im sorry but i feel that you shouldn't sport anything til you actually have it installed, but then again i might just be a *****

I totally agree with you there. I've seen a few mustangs around here that have NOS stickers, but some of my friends have beat them racing. I saw a silver civic yesterday with a huge glittery wing, and tons of stickers with stuff that you know he didn't have. Don't brag about what you don't have. That applies to more than just cars.

hehe i have some stuff done to my car that doesnt have any stickers, but i have one thing done in my car that has a sticker, i still want to put a fogger system on my car though, my brother will help me put it on, then ill smoke v6 stangs, and uhh my cars fast now,

who said its a sticker? lol. I use glass chalk. I usually write NOS including the hardcore arrow from the n to the s on the side rear windows. I might write VTAK on my car sometime. I agree with you there man. I wouldn't put stickers on my new car for anyone. I have only ever put stickers on one car that I owned, an '88 Hyundai Excel. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] The only reason I did that was to cover up all the rust spots and the dents, and since the car was stock, for the 10-15 HP I gained from having them.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]
