I think i'm addicted to speed. Not the drug. For real though, I find myself racing anyone who wants to go even if i know they're faster them me. The thrill i get never gets old. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else? Or am i the only one?

I had that problem in my Trans Am. But not really since I got the Civic. I mean, i'll race if someone wants to. But I don't act like i'm racing 24/7.

How old are you?

You eventually will grow out of it.

I'm only 17...I know I'll eventually grow out of it. I would have thought that getting a speeding ticket would help me stop...nope

I'll race almost anyone anywhere. I always get worried that I'm being too hard on my car though, so I baby it afterwards.
I've gotten a speeding ticket too and all it did to me was make me be more careful about where I speed.

this reminds me of my friend Scott. he is 17 and when he first got his license, he wouldnt speed at all. he always stayed at the speed limit. Now after having it for a few months, he sometimes floors it down some empty street on the way to work or he'll even go over 80 on the freeway even though he said he wouldnt. he actually got it up to over 100 on 8 east up past alpine. funny thing about that was, that was the first time me, him, and another friend went about 30 on the freeway with No traffic. hahaha

I find it most fun (and that it saves on tickets) only to race on the street/freeway when

A) its appropiate (ie no traffic and not in a school zone or what not)
and
B) when someone else instagates it.

Not only do i get the satisfaction of another *** whomping on an unsuspecting (preferably "apparently obviously faster" then me) tool, but it also allows me to save on gas, tickets, and N20 since the only othet time i use THAT is at the track.
