I suffer from a major addiction to cars...my car in particular. Thats nearly all i talk about, read about, and hear about. I love cars. There is one person that gets most of my chatter the most, my girlfriend. I just want to say that she is really supportive of my addiction to cars. Ive even tought her to hate all american cars Anyways...i just found out today for my 2 year anniv. with her that she got me a Neuspeed short shifter. In the past shes gotten me my shift ****, and my Levoc pedels. I was just wondering if any of you have boyfriends, or girlfriends that are supposrtive of your addiction to cars, and what they've gotten you, or done for you for your car.

My G/f spent 3 days with me sound deadening my car.. hence the reason I forgot to take pics and do a DIY.. for my B-day she bought me a Tsunami Front lip (not yet installed damn winter)..She can now do basic amp and HU installs he he.... because of her too I'm learning how to play the Paino.... She doesn't help any with my addictions/hobbies..she feeds them.. lol.

i hear ya on that! my GF has been the same way. she has been totally supportive of me and my addiction to cars. she knows that she will always come first, but my car is very important to me. PROPS OUT to all of our VERY SUPPORTIVE ladies in our lives....and if u dont have one....GO GET ONE!!!!!!!!!!! haha, jk.

Hey,

My wifey is pretty understanding when it comes to my car. She is supportive in the way of " That looks good, wow now improved it, blah blah blah" but the only thing she has gotten me for my car was a Rear View Mirror. But its all good because I let everybody know, I do not want anything for my car. I want every mod to come out of my pocket.

So instead she has gotten me other stuff, clothes a 275$ guess watch (bad-***), and other goodies like that....

I wouldn't feel right asking her for stuff my car.

My girlfriend likes my car but she doesn't like me talking about it all the time. She especially hated the 5 hour trip to Cali where my friend Brian and I talked non-stop about Civics and what we should do with ours. She had my GameBoy Advance though so she was happy.

You guys are lucky. I'm addicted to cars now as well and I don't have anyone close to me whom I can talk with about them. That's why I love this site so much though!
