Yes I did race an EP and I lost. We raced twice. What's your point? I do admit that the race helped me gain a certain respect for the new Si, but I still like my EX.

I still ask, why are we still going on talking about this revived thread?

Not sure, but I just had to post a reply after reading that 15-page thread.

To sum this thread up:

EX owners prefer their cars to the EP. (Based on looks)
EP owners prefer their cars to the EX. (Based on performance/potential)

In my opinion, looks are subjective, therefore I would pick the EP over the EX.
Does anyone think this EP is ugly?

Everyone including EP owners better be raising their hands on this one. All EP's have some degree of uglyness. I'm sorry, but the earlier hatches are much more appealing.

That's a pretty stupid comment to make. Personally, I think the EP3 looks better than the EM2. The kingmotorsports ep just looks tight as hell. I guess everyone is still entitled to their opinion though.

IMHO, I think the new ep hatch would look hella tight if the hood didnt slant down on the same plane as the windshield (making it look similar to a mini-minivan) and it had the 7thgencivic headlights (cuz the EP's are too long, and they make it look almost like a zx3 or something).

My dad has a stock 2002 civic si and i raced him in my 2002 civic ex and lost by 3 cars and my car has a cai and catback we switched drivers and the result was the same

I also raced my friends 1.8t jetta with the si and beat him by 3 cars and when I raced him in my ex he beats me by 1.5 cars

Rsxtc, shutup........no one is claiming it's a drivers' race anymore. This thread was dead for months! I raced an EP, I lost. It's not a drivers race. We all agreed to this now that proof was given.
