Finally!
Well, I live in a little town in Indiana where everyone rices out their cars, and think they're bad ***. Most of them do the typical intake and muffler tip, but there are some decent cars around town. So my insurance is finally taken care of and today, I decided to race.
Encounter 1:
My friend owns a 94 Impala that puts down 530 to the wheels without nitrous, from about 40~45, we gunned it on this little stretch of road, it wasn't much, but it made due, I dropped it into second, gunned it, shifted to third and about 5g the corner where the cop usually sits was rapidly approaching, he only got a length on me, I was rather surprised.
Encounter 2:
Some random Golf with a full body kit, the kid revved me the other day when I was test driving the car, pulls out in front of me today and he gunned it, as did I, and absolutely killed the car, 3~4 lengths, no contest.
Encounter 3:
A fellow Civic owner pulls up to me at a stop light and revs me, him and his buddy are laughing so I rev back because if I didn't I'd look dumb. And I can't just let somebody rev my beautiful car lol. So, I sweet spot it, and sure enough, kill him too.
Sorry my encounters aren't so exciting but, it sure was fun having it out through town. There's a couple more Civic's, Jetta's, and an S2K that I wanna race, I'll post that later when that happens.

Because it doesn't matter how Type-ARRR red you painted your valve cover, that Impala will destroy you.
That's assuming that he's not as full of crap as you are. Maybe that bottle of NAAWWWWZ is just a Bazooka SAS sub.

LOL nice save, but you said WE floored it. My old neighbor back in AZ had a black Imp SS. Bone stock minus the exhaust and intake. That thing was fast for being a sled. When he "floored" it, you knew it because the growl was louder then my old teg with a cai and flowmaster. Even with my LS(gutted with above ricer mods), he smoked me by lengths from a light to light. We were on our way to Scottsdale and were going to the gas station when we did this. I got to the station and he was already topping off his tank and asked me "What happened?" I played dumb and told him, "Forgot to double clutch and granny shifted." We couldn't leave for another 5 minutes because we were laughing so hard.
Point is, you did NOT smoke the IMP unless you have bad rings
Forget the S2000 as well, don't waste your gas trying. Your insurance is gonna go through the roof when you get nailed too. At your age the insurance is already high. Go to the track man. I know they have a couple up there, I got my second teg from a guy in Greenfield.

I definitely found out that it was wayyy quicker than me.
I guess I thought he floored it because he started to spin em, haha.

Yeah, those LT1 Caprices and Impalas are nothing to mess with even stock. Thats because they have the same engine from that era corvette. They usually run high 6's low 7's 0-60mph. Your only hope is that most chevy smallblocks cannot run higher than 5600RPM without power dropping or bearing failure. They are torquey beasts not high revving speeders. But kudos on the rice beatings, you can never have too many of those.
