Ran a charger R/T

Well my first time running a charger R/T and I must say those things are pretty impressive. The one that I ran seemed to be stock (it could have had an intake or computer work done ). I pulled up next to him just as the light was turning green, I was still moving in 2nd and was a couple of cars ahead when he hit it. I lifted throttle letting him get to my rear 1/4 panel before putting it to the floor (I needed to get a bit of a head start to get into better rpms in 2nd. By the time I got to good rpms I was slightly ahead and it stayed that way until we both let off and slowed to normal speeds.

He then got infront of me and caught a gap in traffic, I followed, but he had to much of a head start on me. I hung a couple cars back until about 110 and then got tired of playing this stupid chase game that he seemed to enjoy. He stayed on it until what must have been well over 130mph and then slowed so we both could catch the next light.

The light turned green and I got out of the hole sort of bad, instantly redlining 1st, but 2nd held pretty well. We were both dead even until around 100, when we let off because we were coming into traffic. I had to turn off and gave him a wave, he returned a nod.

There were really no apparent mods to this car, and I would have to say that it is easily capable of sub 14sec runs which to me is pretty impressive for a car that weights over 4000lbs.

Re: Ran a charger R/T

Nice runs. I remember when I was leaving houston after tuning at 335 whp, I caught an srt 8 charger on the highway. That sob was qucik. He did a ricer fly by on me and I dropped gears and sucked him up. I started at about 80, once I hit 120, I was up with him, by 145, I had pulled like 3 or 4 buslengths. I backed off of it and let him catch back up. He looked over at me, grinned from ear to ear then took off again.
