i would have to say the 2000 si. both cars make around the same power on the dyno (i think) but the scion is a tank. plus the si has bolt ons while the scion is stock. i would have to go for the civic if the driver skill was equal. with skills the scion can beat him off the line and take it from there.

actually stock 5 speed tC's make around 140-145WHP stock and has fairly agressive gear ratios. And yeah, tC is a tank! haha

I am not to familiar about the scion and don't know a great deal about cars, but maybe the si due to it being lighter less hp being wasted
