typically what amount of rpms to you guys launch at while racing whether it be the track or street? just a curious question lol plus im bored

depends on what you have done w/ the car, mods, tires, suspension. The best way to know is to experiment w/ your own car. For stock car, ~2500RPM.

the better tires and suspesion you have, you will be able to launch at higher rpm.

allmotor can only hope to improve
on the street when i had dr's, 75 shot, neuspeed rs, i would launch clutch at 3000-3500 rpms

from my personal experience with my car. i launched at 3k when i was n/a and now i launch at 5k with boost.

the sohc i used to launch at 4500 and the Dohc Si i used to lauch between 6500 and 7000 but that thing loved to be launched high i have never driven another car like that one. The sohc had rims, both sohcs i drove.

d17a2 almost stock i launched at about 2-3k

now with my mods (see profile) i launch at about 4k-4500

My best time in my 01 with exhaust was 16.4@84 and that was launching at 4000. I was in a different state at the track and launching at 4000 was yielding 17.1-17.3. Just out of curiousity, I launched it out at 5,500 rpms and clicked off a 16.7.

It's all based on where you're at and how sticky the ground is. You don't want to lose traction and jump up to redline obviously, but you do want to have a certain amount of tire spin as to not bog.

My suggestion is to play around with it. Try high and low rpm launches. If it feels fast, it probably is.
