Talking 95' Civic SI and Toyota DOHC vs. B13 SE-R

Whasup people? i'm new to this site, but not racing! anyway, i remember one time me and my three homies vytas (pronounced vee-tahs), gil, and garrett were all going down the 15 freeway in the Cahon pass. me and gil were in his 95' Civic SI and Vytas and Garrett were in Vytas's Tercel TwinCam, cruising at about 70 or so. not that fast, but both cars have those low-budget, sweet-sounding exhast tips. people know we're down. anyway, as the freeway starts to go straight and downhill again as you pass Oak Hills (i live in southern california), some rich army brat in a tricked out B13 Sentra SE-R with a pink2white pearlescent paintjob and a body kit rolls up on us. he pulls up on the civic's right side, completely bypassing the Tercel. Vytas knows what's going on and he downshifts into 3rd and tries to take it. gil and me go at the same time and the punk gets his race.

the tercel is actually in front, followed up my the sentra, and then us in the civic. but at about 85 mph or so, the tercel, with it's 4 speed manual, shifts into its rediculously long 4th gear. the sentra passes it easily. the guy starts laughing his *** off, totally knocking that little tercel. me and gil, who also used to own a single-cam tercel, have to avenge it by smoking this punk. gil downshifts into 4th and the V-tec kicks in. we hit 105 like nothing and completely mob this guy, practically rip his doors off. all i can see in the rearview is the guy's jaw hitting his clutch in astonishment and gil and garrett laughing their asses off. so were we ^-^

anyway, i've got a ton more stories; garrett in his 305 57' chevrolet vs. a new Mazda RX-8, Vytas in his 2000 Nissan Frontier vs a beast of a hummer H2, some other stuff worth mentioning. anyway, laytah hommies!
