my 05 vs about a 90 celica gt turbo
i work at a local napa and some kid from an advance come in for a optima battery tray he was in an about a 90 celica gt and i seen a fmic on it. i was just getting off work so i left out before he did i went down the road waiting for him wen he went by he started reving so i fell out behind him. he turned on a back road so i folowed as soon as i turned he tapped his roof and it was on. i dropped it back to 2nd and layed in it. i stayed on his *** the whole time he never pulled on me. i dont think he had it tuned good every time he shifted a big puff of black smoke came out. i just thought it was funny cause he spent all that money to go turbo and he couldnt pull on 05 vp with intake pulleys and exhaust

i have a lot of friends that have much nicer cars than i do and a lot comes down to how comfortable the driver is in the car and how hard he wants to push it. i can pull away on back roads against a 2nd gen turbo mr2 (runs 13s on the track) mostly because he wont stay fully on the throttle through turns and brakes to early. so props if you have the ***** to push your car and keep up with this guy but if your bullshitting then go out and drive some backroads and you could run with decent cars even with a d17

I'd say this guy did not have an intercoller, but it was an INTEROOLLER.
guys dont be hatin, whether it was ****ed up, driver was an idiot and didn't know how to drive, the point is he stuck on his ***. There is many things to consider when racing a turbo car, When my car was not tuned, loosing boost through the wg and ic piping kept blowing off i got beat by a v6 camaro, once i fixed that i beat a mustang gt with bolt ons, those things make a huge difference. Nice run man my friend has one of those celicas but n/a, it couldn't even get out of its own way even turbo i think it would be slow
