super happy with time
super happy with time
I drive a 04 Civic Sedan Auto yeah vp so no vtec and tonight i took her out to the track and i hit a New Time of 15.828 thats with 75 shot of nitrous intake exhaust and that was it lol im super satisfied 17.6 off bottle
no offense because you are an auto, but why would you ever be proud of a 15.8 1/4 with a 75 shot. i would demod my car and drive it bone stock if i was to run a 75 shot and barley pull a high 15. just seems like a waste of money. i mena the fact hat you shaved off almost 2 seconds with a 75 shot is good. but the time in general is pitiful. i mean modded manuals can pull that time off the bottle and run mid 14's on a 50 shot with traction. not bad for an auto i guess

Props on the new time.
racing with an auto is like running a marathon with one leg. It takes alot more work to get into the pack. When you blow your trans you can always k swap.
lol i guess you can flame all you want i have intake and exhaust and its a DX motor base line automatic even people out at the track were like woah im the only one around here and i did race a 7th gen coupe EX with mods and "5 speed" he was running 17 as fastest time i think i did pretty damn good for my car im from south dakota and i like my car to be more show anyway
Dude don't listen to them.....Why is everyone such dicks on this forum.....WTF he went from a 17.6 to a 15.8. Yeah thats not a good time but wtf it makes him happy and it was a major improvement from what he had been running. Besides maybe his track is shitty just like ours. I ran 16 flat in my fully bolt on and cammed civic si thats a **** time but if i got to phx i would run probably 15.5 all night. A lot of factors could have come in but 15.8 is still better than 17.6
As for mods turn it into a manual and buy a vtec head and do the vtec head swap...if you need help lmk I have done it before.

I'm not sure if turbo would improve his time to be honest. $3000 seems like a big waste to maybe run mid 15's.
I'd say manual tranny swap would be a good idea, if you want a manual.
