i think putting it in nuetral and revving up to 3k and ropping it down to drive is samething as a 5 speed revving up to 4k or whatever and just letting go of their clutch. i say its just as bad. one is bad for trans. and one is bad for clutch.

if you have an auto then dont launch like that too much. i would just race from a roll instead of from a stop.

yup just go to the track and make a bunch of passes, at the track where i run it is 1/8 mile and they have test-n-tune days where you just run as much as you want....as for an auto, i wouldnt do too many of those nuetral slams, maybe try holding the brake and gas and try to get the rpms up like that...but an auto sux in a 7thgencivic, my girl had an 01 auto and mine is a 025sp both ex coupes.....i used to rape her all the time...then she got a 330ci and now she rapes me at will
