Sorry that this isnt about civics but i figure everyone likes to hear a good story.....My freind and I heard to Indy for some trouble. We spend all night looking for some cars that will even give the ol 06 some trouble, His car is a 02 ZO6 with intake exhaust and diablo controller..Dont know alot more about it except that this thing is scary fast. We pull up beside a 04 STI , i ask him how does that thing run, He says better than that turd. The first race was from a dead stop. The STI LAUNCHES out of the hole maybe a car ahead, the Z starts pulling hard and theyre pretty even,,, Theyre even all the wat to about 120 when they both started to slow. We fallow him to a local hang out for cars(stake and shake) to find out just what this things got...Dont hold me to it but he told me it was a JDM 2.0 H boxer with a FPT red series turbo running somethin like 26lbs of boost and alcohol/gas injection. it had a front mount instead of the stock style top mount intercooler. Other than that i dont know but it was really impressive to me since the Z ran a 12.1 on intake and headers, before the programer...

i like both cars. but if i had to decide which to get i would pick the STI. just about everywhere i go i see vettes rolling around. i hardly see any STI's

The Z06 would be my choice, oh man do they handle, and the part about the STI only getting a one car launch, he dropped it pretty high but my buddie can drive that vette, it hooks up incredbily for a 400 hp rwd

I would take a the STI only because it snow 6 months a year here, and AWD is far better than RWD in snow. But if it was just for a fun car, I owuld go with the Z06, I like vets far better than STI's, but it's just my .02

I like Vettes as much as I like Cobras as much as I like STi's...all great cars in their own catagory.. very nice cars.. But I like getting blown just like my cars (Cobra)
