that's just depressing. Although, not surprising cause any person I know that got a really nice car as a young person either when I was in H.S. or now in college has pretty much either trashed the car or wrecked it. No appreciation.

I hope it was the person in the Civic's fault, because I don't want to think about someone plowing an STI into anything...

If they were racing (if you call that line-up a race), I agree.

Holy cow - are the people ok? That STI is in bad shape. So much smack talk about such-and-such car - it's the people that count. Cars are replaceable. Especially if it's a $15k and $27k car. <rolls eyes>

I'm not surprised at STI owner. Having a powerfull car like that, you can get carried away out on streets. That things pulls and pulls and pulls. I had the privilage to sit in one for a drive on a freeway, and I just could not belive what that thing can do. Civic problably started it, my guess Civic pulled up next to STI and dumbass started revving his D17 with ..I'll guess N1 exhaust. I just dont know why would STI waste his gas on freakin Civic. Well...so long STI.

you say that as if all stock looking civic sedan owners are wannabe hardcore street racers. its entirely possible that the civic driver was a victim, or just not careful.

The EVO 8 is not selling well, where the STi is pretty much sold out for the year.

EXACTLY!!!!!! Couldn't have said it better myself, except maybe to add of course that the STi OWNEDer should take it to the track, and not street race in the first place, but we all know that's not realistic. These things, along with the Evolution, should come with a driving course or special high-performance license requirement. Or just the owner to pass an IQ test with a score >65.

too much power for the kid to handle.
I know my buddy was driving a Jeep Wrangler for a while, then went out and got a 2000 Lude...within his 6 months of owning the car, he wrecked it 4 times. One time was nearly totalled. He just couldnt handle the torque steer at all. People go from not so fast cars, to really powerful and they just dont know what to do with all the power. I think people need to work there way up to the real performance cars. Im sure if almost anyone in here (with the exception of a few) was handed the keys to a Ferrari Enzo, you would either have a minimum of 3 speeding tickets, and maybe even a wrecked car. Its too much, too fast.

Does anyone really know what happened?? Hell it could have been a head on wreck, maybe someone took there eye off the road. And how do we know young kids were involved. I'm 36 and drive a Si and was in a bad wreck a month ago in my EX and it wasn't from racing. I see a lot of middle aged guys driving STI's.

Before you guys go off and bitch and moan about haow bad spoiled kids are and they souldn't be racing.

GET THE FACTS FIRST THEN BASE YOUR COMMENTS ON THEM!
