the 240/silvia encounter
Well, ever since I got my car, a buddy has been on my nuts to race. He has a '95 240sx w/ a S14 redtop with a T28 ball bearing turbo and all that awesome drift stuff! Anyway....
We go out last night and end up at the same place. You know the story, I talk ****, he spits it back.......We leave.....
The first race was from a 20mph roll....By the time i shifted into 2nd, he was a car length behind me....by the time i shifted into 3rd, he was on my door....in third I put 3 car lengths on him....the end.....
The second race is from a dead stop...I launch at 4500 RPM's and put a car and a half on him....Shifting into 2nd, he shuts down....
I shoulda raced him for gas money......
His car is much faster from 60 mph on up...but from a dead stop, I guess the gearing isn't the same. I'm seriously considering getting the 4.57 gears...It'll be funny to see what happens then.....

be careful about using anything other than the OEM spark plugs. people have had issues with other plugs unseating and then destroying the entire engine. also, be sure your car has had the spark plug recall done, and that you used the correct torque specs for the plugs.
