Not your typical street encounter

This story doesn't involve a street race or anything, but it was an encounter on the street. Here's a little background. I live in a pretty small town and in a small area for that matter. So anyone who's into cars pretty much knows each other. So I'm rollin' through town and I see this 7thgen coming the other way. So I slow down to see who it is and introduce myself. The other civic slows down too and the guy rolls down his deep tinted window. I look at him and have to take a second look. And it's this guy who is at least in the 45-50 range with his wife. He had rims, taillights, exhaust, racing stripes. That was all I could see. But anyways, he was telling me how excited he was to have his new civic and his wife was talking about how they were ordering lowering springs next. She was so excited when she said it. It was really funny, yet cool at the same time. He was like, man your car is really hooked up. I hope to get mine like that. Anyone else have these kinda encounters with older people like this? I just thought it was pretty cool. I was expecting some young person to roll down the window. I was really surprised. Well that's my encounter.

Something like that kinda happend to me except it was an older guy with a damn nice prelude. Since my car wasn't "hooked up" at all he told me......"so what's next?"

Thats cool, I've never seen people around here like that. The import scene isn't as big here so its expected. Most old people around here drive SUV's
