you're 200 pounds less than a DX. and even then, you only shaved off 100 pounds from when you ran a 16.9.

if you think you're getting 5-8 hp from the crank pulley, you're smoking something. and even then, if you think adding 5-8hp will get you even a TENTH of a second, you're mistaken.

so with your mods, from the 15.7, i'd give you a 15.3-15.4 at the absolute BEST. and even that is only likely with a following wind.

and by the way, i have been respectful to you, so i think I deserve the same. not a post ended with sarcastic @sshole statements.

Friday the times will tell. I am predicting a 14.2-14.5. But of course the dates will be wrong and people will call BS because its impossible for a car with a 50 shot to run a 13. If were gonna say redline04 had nitrous to make a 90mph trap speed then I guess we have to say that the one guy that ran a 15.8 stock and on video was using some sort of power adder because he ran a 15.828 @ 91.836 mph.

Can SOMEONE please tell me how trapping at basically 92 mph in a stock EX is possible? When I was N/A. The most I ever trapped at was 86 mph and that was on a cold fall day with a slight wind to my back.

If this guy can run a 92 mph trap stock, then why can't it be possible for redline04 to run a 90 mph trap with boltons, weight reduc? I know his stock times were bad but so were mine. I went from 16.8's to 16.5's to my PR or 15.97 just on practicing and learning to shift better. My traps were also low 80's and improved to mid 80's with just better shifting and from being more experienced.
IMO, that 92mph trap speed stock is a lot harder to believe than a bolt on DX running at 90 mph trap.

because weight reduction and DR's and such mods will barely increase your trap. what drastically increases trap speed is a good increase in horsepower. also consider DX's trap in the 81-82 range stock with the best drivers. DX's do not have the top end the EX does.

I just wanna say Redline did run 15.1 with the mods he listed BUT he DOES have some serious weight reduction lol....anyhow he JUST got nitrous and he didnt run that 15.1 with nitrous...there's so many witnesses to this story, it'll be pointless for all of them to just register on the site just to prove a point but congrads to him running a 14.5 on spray and shifty's car is making over 400hp and vector is making 350whp+ and both have SRT4's. Last but not least, that video does SUCK lol

lol these retards have no idea how trap speeds work. The laws of physics dictate that his car can NOT gain 10MPH by the end of a 1/4 mile by removing 200lbs, getting better traction and barely adding any power from I/H/E.

not to mention look at the almost 3mph trap speed difference from his best to his worst and that is on the same night. He gained almost 3 mph with the same mods and same HP on the same night."That defies the laws of physics" LOL. My stock runs and the 15.1 were several months apart with lots of practice in between if he can improve almost 3 mph in one night with the same mods and setup, why cant I improve 8mph with more mods weight reduction, cooler temps and better driving?

this car is a completely different car and setup. comparing the two makes no sense. notice how much his 60' and ET's fluxuate, while his trap speeds remain about 84-86mph. if his 60' came down, he'd be in the mid 15's probably, but still running the same trap speeds.

because you went from stock to adding very little horsepower to get that 8mph.

he has a completely different setup than your car. he's got an emanage, with who knows what a/f and timing settings. and since he hasn't dyno'd he could detonate on one run and not on another. his is a completely different kind of setup, one that could vary his trap by as much as 2mph on the same night. particularly if something about his setup is not running 100%.

I just think that it is very funny that your entire standpoint changes becuase of one comment that he had made.

My point:
-it is well within the relms of reality that redline could and did run that time and any argument of trap speed is shot down by the 16 sec @ 86mph (thread previously posted). As for redlines extream increase in trap speed, he took out power steering, added pullys, shaved weight, and the biggest one of all he mostlikley learned to shift more efficently. In all reallity I can see that adding 8 or 10 mph. Yes for faster cars it may be more difficult to increase trap speeds and 1/4 mile times, but this is a civic.

-redline has been what I would call a reputable member for some time now and went to great lengths to show proof.

-I cannot say that I am 100% convinced, but I would assume take his word for it becuase I trust him and there is not enough evidence that says otherwise.

-and as for the comment about NA being permited to post the way he does in this forum. I would then suggest that you remove your thread on respect, becuase you are giving people the wrong impression.

-Honestly S2k I respected you (even throughout some of the flaming towards myself) and I am sure that many others respected you becuase you stood for what you belived and never gave in no matter what anyone else thought. If you let someone who obviously has problems interacting appropriatly on this forum come back after repeated bannings and walk all over other members. And then proceed to become a follower and no longer a leader, I am sure that myself and many others included will begin to lose respect. So I hope it is worth it.

I respect s2kman more than n e one on this site, even derek (no offense i luv ya man) he's staying as neutral as possible while still trying to state the facts and his views, he did say that NA was being blunt and some people dont like that or can misconstrew it for being an ***; which is understandable, if s2kman went around banning every member that was being an *** then this site would have 3 members, s2kman, derek and the forum bot. and that video looked like crap too.
