So this is the recipe to low 15's? "lol"
he has more weight reduction done, ran on 14 inch steelies DR's, etc.

he has more mods than you listed there.

besides, even with what you listed there, you call that a "few" mods? lol. weight reduction, motor mounts, i/h/e, etc..... thats far from stock.

a 6th gen Si will walk a 7th gen EX any speed any gear. especially one as modded as that 6th gen was.

The SI should win with a good driver and proper tuning against your average 7thgen with I/h/E, but it's not always the case. Good kill. On the street you never know what could happen.

Dizzle when are you gonna let me know where you are from so maybe we can set something up? You talk **** but you avoid my question. Your missing the point that my car weighs 400lbs less then the avg Ex and I have no power steering and a crank pulley which most people don't, plus I run on DR's or my forged 17's(lighter and less rotational inertia than stock EX wheels).
if you raced a 6th gen Si that only ran a 15.8, do me a favor. print up this picture and give it to him next time you race.

I've raced a 00 Si with i/h/e and lost. I only raced him from a roll and he actually didn't pull to hard on me until 3rd gear. I was very surprised. LOL i actually did hang in 2nd gear (i maybe lost a bumper or so). But once i shifted to 3rd it was all over.

careful with that picture man, if it's the same guy that needs to be told, then he might think the black plastic part is the gas

It was his first time at the track so I guess it wasn't quite fair and his VAFC was untuned.

Trust me man i would love to own your ***, but i live in vegas.

Where exactly did you get this weight loss of 200 lbs?
Damn Vegas is kinda of far away, guess you'll just have to wait a while for a video.
I'd say it shaved .2-.4 tenths and yes a flywheel would be nice, high 14's all day NA. In do time.
Check my profile on the weight loss. There's a link.

Ok first of all how would you hear if he did miss 2nd??? I don't know about you, but the only thing that I can hear when racing is the sound of my exhaust. Second I just test drove a 00 Si for a friend (compleatly stock) and I really think that my car may be a bit faster. However if that car had my mods I would expect it to win. As far as a EX breaking 15 sec, if it COULD happen I would say that I should be able to come close this summer when I go to the track (pulling out the seats, and running DRs). If I can't do it which I really doubt that I can I will just give the keys to redline and let him do it. If he can run a 15.1 in a DX I would say that he could break 15 in a EX with more mods that is lightened as well.

careful using the old butt dyno to determine what is faster.

an 00 Si can run 15.3 stock.

I will admit that it may not be the most reliable way. That and the fact that I had a hard time getting use to the stock clutch and shifter. However both me and my friend were not to impressed when I launched it and got decent shifts. I did like going to 8k before shifting though.

i could hear if he missed second gear because he has the loudest exhaust ive ever heard. he just got pulled over 2 days for it. thats how i know he didnt miss second because their was no long interval inbetween shifting
