just the swap on stock tires low 14's maybe high 13's depends how you drive. with the mods low 13's on slicks i'd say good chance you might dip into 12's.

you really think the swap alone can get the civic into the 13's? has anyone done this? (just curious since the RSX-S itself can't do much better than about 14.8 stock)

for a stock type S swap with exhaust (you have to, for the swap) and polyuret. hasport mounts, and good tires, I would say mid to low 14's ...

Yeah, mid low 14's when stock...you only have about 200lbs on a stock S, and stock S is good for 14.8-15.2 or so. With those mods you should see low 13's easy though.

I think mid 14's is the best you're going to see with the swap alone.

Be unique and modify the hell out of the Civic instead of getting the IS300.

yeah, I have no idea where some people are geting low 13s . The one reply was 14s stock and then low 13s with I/H/E. That is crazy a type S is going to have a hard time running low 13s boosted. I/H/E I say that you will see 190whp so I say low 14s best shoot for mid 14s and if you hit low 14s that will be a good suprise

Your right about the hp.... with i/h/e vafcII and dyno tunned i got 191 whp on my ex's rsx-s (i did all the work) But ur wrong about the times....I got it into the 13s and i know plenty of ppl that have done the same....And one that ran a 13.5 with catback and cai and new tires.....And yes some of the rsx-s with turbos are running slower than they should b/c the ppl driving and fixing them up dont know what they are doing....There are plenty as well that are fast as ****

190HP modded k20 would def. put my car into the low 13's, maybe 12.9. A guy here ran 13.8 in his RSX, dynoed 193hp. I'm about 700lbs less than his car.

I assume you did some serious weight reduction? Because 700lbs lighter then an RSX is like 2100 lbs.
