There was a mention of a old school cavalier on a thread i guess yesterday hear on this site. Well, i was going over to a buddies place after getting my paycheck and i'm on a 2 lane road with few lights and speed limit is 50 (just to give u a little setting). So i'm at a light behind a lexus and the 3.1 cavalier in the other lane took off burning rubber and such. So that provoked me whether it was intentional or not. I get around the lexus and catch upto the guy. This is a pretty well kept up cavalier with somesort of cat back exhaust and a pretty classy wing along with weird looking taillights. So i just kinda cruise by him not expecting a race, but i heard his engine just open up. Well...i couldnt allow this. I open up too. Its dead even from 55 to about 85 and i pull on him. So when we finally catch upto traffic he pulls up next to me, opens his window and says 'u got lucky man my radio was on i didnt have full power'........i laughed ...then i turned and went on my way. I dunno bout u....but i know my music was blasting and i got a system. It was fun though, first race i've had in a while. Prolly the only one since were bout to get dumped on by 8-12 inches of snow 2nite. But yeah just thought i'd share my street story.
