you do realize the civic cruch is its front wheel drive guys? If you take any rear wheel drive car and modifiy it, you could very well have the chance of competing against an s2k. example 240sx.
here is something better to compare.

Rep Power: 400 boxster S is about the same speed as an S2k. albeit probably just a little faster.
