When is the best time to use my nitrious?

Ok yeah i have niotrious and i know how to use it i was just wondering when is the best time to use it. i usually just purge it to mess with people. i have my vtec setup to kick in at 4400 in 1st and 2nd, and 3800 in 3rd and 4th, when i want to race with my vtec controller. so i was just wondering when i should kick it in? i have only used it once, i have a 50 shot jet on there now but it is adjustable from 35-100. will somebody with a little more experience on using nirtious in a race help me out?

SMX is on a distinguished road
Wide open throttle in the power band. That may cause you to spin your tires in first gear. In that case, it's wide open throttle in the power band in second, third and fourth gears (presuming you need that many gears for what you are doing).

yeah most likely im only using it for 1/4 mile races, or the local street races witch are a little over a 1/4. but witch gear do you think i should really use it 3rd? or 4th? cause 1st and 2nd are pretty peppy i don't think i'll need the nitrious there in a 1/4.

ricergribbs is an unknown quantity at this point
u should really hit it in 2nd. but if u dont want to then 3rd. the sooner the better. but u definetly dont want to hit it in first cause ur tires will spin, and definetly not in fifth cause ull prolly break ur transmission since fifth isnt made to handle that much power.
