if I'm not mistaken, the final drive is different for ex's and lx's ...
ex's 3rd, 4th and 5th are shorter ... 3rd tops out at 87, 4th 110, 5th ?
lx's are a bit longer ... 3rd tops out at 91, 120? (limited to 115)
that's part of why it helps out in the 1/4 mile
drivetofast ran his car at the track a few months ago ... at 6 psi, achieved a best of 14.7 with a 2.4 60' time

Good news and bad news.
To answer your question, no. You aren’t that bad a driver. That’s the good news. The bad news is that your car is pretty slow for having aftermarket boost. Even if you were able to solve your traction problems and cut low 2 second 60' times, I cant see your overall ETs and trap speeds improving that much. Given that you are trapping at 90MPH, id say you will more then likely be puling down mid 90s with a proper start. What does this mean? That, in reality, even with slicks and 8PSI of boost, you are only going to be ripping off very high 14 second runs. Id be surprised if you ran faster then a 14.8@~95 at the most and thats with a good tail wind behind you, and perfect track coditions.
Unless you plan on making more power, you aren’t going to be beating too many things on the street or at the track. As of right now, it seems like wasted money. Hell, I managed to cut a 15.2@92 when my Si was bone stock (to give some perspective) I hope you can find more power in dyno tuning, because unless built, I don’t think your engine is going to be taking too much more boost. Not if it’s a daily driver.
As for the motor mounts, they will hewith wheel hop at launch (or between shifts if you make enough power), I would go with the Energy Suspension versions. The Prothanes are too hard and promote too much vibration transfer into the chasis and steering column.

I would hope ANY generation of boosted civic would be able to beat an (essentially) stock 99-00 or 02+ Si.
It’s nice that you beat an SRT-4. Especially since the driver managed to pull a mid 14 second pass with a car that’s capable of high 13s, stock.
I am also THRILLED to hear that some guy who isnt you, me, or the person that started this thread can run mid 13s. You know, I have a friend who runs mid-high 10 second passes in the ¼ mile. Does that make his kack bigger then yours or mine? Here is a better question. DOES IT MATTER?
This would all add to be a really great reply to my post, except for this one fact...
IT MEANS JACK SQUAT.
None of that BS you just mentioned has ANYTHING to do with this specific situation, the original posters car, what he ran, what he has done to it, or what I said in response to this thread.
What was your point again?

I was slipping up to third - but damn, 15.5?? I was expecting to break 14s!!!
A lot of folks were very impressed with the install of the turbo, non-the-less - guess no one here in Orlando has seen a 2001+ series civic that's been turboed!

If you look at his trap speed, you will see that it’s not the driving that is his problem. It is power production. With low-mid 90MPH trap speeds, he isn’t going to be hitting anything better then low 15s, or VERY high 14s.
But I guess pointing that fact out is "hating", so here you go guy...
WAY TO GO! OMG a TURBO CIVIC! MAN that’s AWESOME! Keep up the good work!!!! *jacks off to pics of your engine bay* UNF!
