Run-in...
Run-in...
Well, tonight I had a little run-in with the local sheriff's deputy. me and a couple friends were minding our own business in this parking lot when my friend asked me to take out his silencer out of his exhuast. So we get down on the ground and are trying to get the rusty screw off and this cop comes flyin in out of nowhere and asks us what we were doing on the ground. We told him taking the silencer out and he tells us in a serious manner, "what for?! Your going to have to put it right back in before you hit that highway!" I looked at him and asked him why and he thought I was giving attitude and starting popping off at me about "sound ordinance and how its illegal to modify your exhaust" and whatnot and in a very nice manner I told him mine was perfectly legal and wasnt very loud and he just had to be a peckerwood and searched everything under my hood. My intake and exhuast each had the CARB stickers and stuff to prove him 100% street legal and he called me a smartass punk and started searching my car WITHOUT getting my approval first. so I asked him if he was on duty or not, which he was, got his name and badge number, and I asked him if the lady riding in the patrol car with him was his wife or not and he said it was. So I caught him with a civilian in his patrol car while on duty, and I'm reporting him for harassment. Normally I wouldnt pursue something like this, especially with a police officer, but this guy was just bein a total peckerwood. What do you guys think?

It’s not worth your time. Nothing will come of this, other then having a cop (and his friends) being on the lookout for you. Don’t complain when you start getting tickets for going 2MPH over the speed limit if you decide to pursue this any further.
BTW, this is EXACTLY why having a sleeper is better. I’ve not ONCE had a cop look under my hood (and believe me, I've been pulled over for my fair share of speeding violations).
Worst I ever got was a front window tint ticket.
