this has nothing to do with a 7th gen, i just wanted to tell you all about my good luck. my boss at work has and evo 8. now he has done a few things to his engine, reflashed ecu, cam gears, hks 272 exhaust and intake cams, turbo back exhaust, new turbo manifold stuff like that. well he wanted me to drive his car because he never heard what his car sounded like when he was passing someone on the freeway at high speeds. so i drove his car and he drove mine. we get on to this freeway by our work and i let him get a few cars in front of me and i kept his car in second and punched it. let me tell you that his car has an amazing amount of power. it put me in the seat as if i was in an airplane taking off. it was unreal. so i shift into third and slow down. this is the cool part, he comes up next to me and tell me to race this 300ZX thats behind us. so i did and i felt like i was racing his car against mine because i hardly had to push his car to pass this guy on the freeway. i didnt have to take his rpms past 5000 to beat him. the evo 8 is the fastest car i have ever been in and it gets all my respect.

me like evos..... just evo 7 styling and options better now the evo rs sounds promising if only they bring back the AYC and that other electric thing they dropped off the evo 8 for america which i cant remember at the moment

I believe the upcoming Evo MR in fall of 2004 will have the ACD but no AYC.
