Night at LACR Strip

Night at LACR Strip
So I went down to LACR, (Los Angeles County Raceway) tonight and there were some nice looking cars.
The first one that caught my eye was a Volkswagon Beetle with a Chevy 350 in it. Amazing, it ran a 9.80, it was sick sounding.
What surprized me was MTV was there with their film crew crashing the night. They ran their vans on the strip and ran a 21 sec 1/4 mile. What really surprized me was that most of the people in the audience were talking siht about them.
Good. I dispise how they show the "import scene"...
Anyhow, next time I will take pictures.

There was also a 93 civic hatch running in the 13's. All motor I believe, the driver made it into the finals for next friday.
Another car that made it into the import finals was a Mecedes Sedan, wierd.
