My friend Alan has a 350Z. We went out saturday night and did some spirited driving through the roads of germantown. (our girlfriends were along too)
I had a BMW try to race me off the line, but I was ahead and already in 3rd just accelerating normal, when he did a ricer flyby. Before I could get a chance to show him the happier side of 9,000rpm, he turned off on another road. So we just kept driving around a bit, drifting corners and causin trouble. hehe
It was a lot of fun, but at one point we decided to see if there was any street racing going on. We hit the freeway onramp and immediately floored it drifting around the first curve. Continuing our pace, we were at 90mph coming out of the last curve of the onramp and we just kept going. Alan moved into the center lane as I stayed in the right. He stayed right on my tail (since he was behind me at the on ramp) all the way til I shut down at 135mph. When I shut down he was still right there, and it was fun as hell to make a little top end run like that. Though I think my girlfriend was enjoying it more than I was! (lol gotta love that)
We only found a cop at the street racing spot, so we decided to head home after that. Not all that eventful, but it was fun having 2 sporty cars toolin' around through the streets and the freeway.
