Seriously, with all else aside, why do you keep quoting 1/4 mile times, torque wins races in the standing 1/4 mile race, torque plays little to no effect on top end races. Agreed?
If someone set their car up to run the 1/4 mile then it generally does not run really great on the top speed runs. Every car I built prior to my project with the Civic was set up for 1/4 mile races, I lost alot off top speed acceleration and would lose alot of high speed Hwy races, but when it came time to go from a stand still, that was a whole nother story. My Civic is not a 1/4 mile car, nor will it ever be, I don't care about 1/4 mile times any more, my goal is time attack around circuit tracks, like TWS (Texas World Speedway), Motorsport Ranch, hopefully to race in the Honda Challenge events and get to go to tracks like Laguna and Willow Springs.

so you're saying your civic is a top end monster? You wouldnt by any chance live in cali would you? I'd be willing to run you on video doin a top end run. I only have a celica and it should be much slower than an s2K

I would not call it a monster , but my car is set up to run it's best on the big end.
I am supposed to set something up with video with SpEeDxXxRaCeR, gave him my cell number and we talked. Although running his car is not the same as running a showroom stock S2000. He is boosted, and makes boost at around 3,000 rpm...so from an 70-80mph roll and with him shifting early at 6,500 rpm as opposed to 9,000 rpm he is still faster than a showroom stock S2000.
If I did live in California I would take you up on that offer. If you know someone here in Houston with a similar set up to yours maybe we could set something up that way? I would be willing to do it. I am trying to be a good sport about all this.

He never said he blew the doors off an s2000, they were just playing a bit of cat and mouse.
O.k., so I personally know HondaChevy...and just want to vouch for the guy's ability to drive.
I actually used to own a s2000 and on occation run into him on the freeway to work; anyhow, we raced through traffic a couple times...and it didn't matter if I had more horsepower because this guy drives his Civic as if it were a damn porsche.

I know SpEeDxXxRaCeR also, his S2000 isn't exactly stock...I hereby ban him from racing civics unless they are hybrids/turbocharged.
