Rep Power: 0 Civic Vs. Accord PART 2
this was a week back.. i got a 03 civic ex 5 speed and this other guy had a 95 accord ex... i thought it was a v6 cus it had those 2 tips on the exhaust but it was juss a i4.. it was also ex.. we were both on a red.. and he wanted to race so we had it planned.. i power reved.. had it on 3500 rpm when i let go the clutch... and i TOOK OFF.. his car couldnt even catch up.. when i met emm up again.. he coulda swore there was sumthin in mah engine.. im bone stock... so he said dunt power rev.. we got another red... i had to be careful not to stall without power revin reall quick... so he had the start.. and then i took emm again.. hit about 80.. won by atleast 10 cars.. no joke... his car had 70,000 miles and mine has 12,000.. would that be a factor? and he has an automatic too

Rep Power: 0 The automatic, inline 4, heavy *** car, could contribute to his loss. LoL. I dunno about 10 cars, but 4 may be reasonable to 80.

Rep Power: 0 Even though the accord has a bigger engine, the weight is a factor. Your car is atleast 500-1000 lbs lighter than the accord. Good run. I run a couple 94-97 (4th gen?) accords and beat them by a few car lengths.

the 94-97 is a 5th gen.
I believe honda started putting v6's only from 98-on (6th and 7th gen accords)

Rep Power: 0 i would have to agree w/ green civic the weight of the accord is a big factor. my 7gen is an auto w/ no engine mods and i beat a 4th gen accord w/ auto tranny by at least 1/2 to one car length and it had dc headers and intake
