Rep Power: 0 My cousin and his courage...
On Friday, my cousin Mike woke up and drove to UCI only to fail his physics midterm. Of course, he didn't care at the moment, and he even went to school in beach apparel, with his boardshorts and a ripped shirt, not to mention his messed up curly hair. Anyhow, on the way home, he exited the 73 toll road and did a California roll as he turned right at the red light. Unfortunately for Mike, a cop saw him.
The cop was a real jerk. He furiously questioned my cousin, saying things like, "What the hell were you thinking, speeding through a red light like that?!"
My cousin replied by politely, and timidly, "no, officer, I stopped..."
"You callin' me a liar, boy?!"
"No, sir, I--"
"Where are you coming from?!"
"I just came from... came from school, sir."
"Give me your license!"
"Alright, it's in the back, sir."
As Mike opened the trunk, the cop noticed his boardshorts and beach shirt, all ripped and dirty. To further hurt Mike's case, his bodyboard was in the trunk, along with a lot of sand. The cop wasn't convinced that my cousin was coming from school.
He then demanded for Mike's registration; by this time, Mike was sick of the cop's attitude:
"You know what? Can you change your attitude with me, please?"
The cop didn't like this remark, as indicated by his disgusted facial expression as he was handed the registration. He walked back, and Mike sat in his car, frantically searching for a way to amend his mistake. Finally, he thought of a way:
"Officer, can I please have a word with you?" said Mike as he stuck his head out the car window. When the cop complied, Mike went back to the squad car, and, before he knew it, was leaning on the driver door, chatting with the cop.
After much bickering, my cousin finally shouted, "Please, sir. I just wanted to come home in one piece! What's so bad about that?!"
The cop then said, "fine, go home in one piece", shoved the registration and license back in my cousin's face, and sped off.
I am truly amazed.

Rep Power: 0 Woah, don't call BS on me. I'm not making this up. I'm guessing the cop was fed up, or maybe he had another call. He wasn't CHP, by the way, he was an Aliso or Laguna Niguel cop.
