better time?
what kind of improved time do you think could be expected from a ACT flywheel?? They have one thats 11.7lbs and another thats 8.7lbs.
Just wondering if it might be worthwhile venture for a vic on a 75shot

well this is prolly the wrong forum really.
8.7 will make the car easier to stall BUT you will rev more freely. so you'll hurt your launch but help your top end. also you gotta remember that because your revs are fster up they are faster down so you have to shift faster and more prcise than before or you'll fall too low and lose time.

youll lose ratational momentum off the crank with the lighter flywheel, basically like what he^^ said with the revs faster up and down, which also means for a daily driver hills and such will strain your car more
it will help your track times once you get used to it. my stocker is only 13 lbs so I just left it alone. personally if I got one I wouldnt go lower than 10lbs. but civcs are different and I don't know the stock weight.
anyone know?
