c5 vs supra? vs CHP

7:30am on the way to work this 2nd day of January. I come up to a stoplight where a beautiful black c5 is waiting. When I look over to the driver, I give him a thumbs up to compliment his car and he proceeds to rev. Before I could shake my head and wave off the invitation he turns his head forward and prepares to launch. Normally I would have taken him up on the offer, but I'm not a big *** of racing in the rain...so no thanks for today. He launches as soon as the light hit green and I just take off like little old granny. Seconds after, a squad car passes by me. I was going around 30-35 at the time so the squad car must have been doing around 50. About 2 miles down the street I see that same squad car pulled over to the side and no c5 in sight. Looks like he got away

Good choice. Racing in the rain is no fun in a rwd, at least on the street.
