Porsche GT3
Today, I went to the mall to buy some new shoes and while I was in the parking lot I saw a yellow Porsche. At first I thought it was just another 911, but when I looked in the back, I saw the "GT3" badge. I know 911 don't come with a wing, they might have the wing that retracts in the trunk or whatever, but this one was not that kind. I saw 2 or 3 GT2's before, but never a GT3. I had no clue they make the GT3 for the street. What do you guys think? Was it a real GT3 or what? I also saw the drilled ceramic huuuge disc brakes.(don't know if the 911 has those)
Whatever it was, it was a sweet a** car.

More power and more torque on the same engine size and with unchanged fuel consumption – this, in a nutshell, describes the development formula for the second-generation 911 GT3. Consistently reducing moving masses in the six-cylinder power unit and capitalising on the benefits of infinite VarioCam camshaft adjustment, the new 911 GT3 comes with a significant boost in power of 15 kW or 21 bhp: Maximum output is up from 265 kW or 360 bhp at 7200 rpm to 280 kW or 381 bhp at 7400 rpm. Maximum torque has increased from 370 to 385 Newton-metres (272-284 lb-ft) at unchanged engine speed of 5000rpm.

^^^^^^ the wide body is for the rear mounted intercoolers for the turbo models... if youre indeed referring to the inlets just above and in front of the rear wheels
A few weeks ago i was cruising on the freeway to work when i saw a modded looking turbo.. Being the turbo freak I am, i had to take a look. As i got closer i saw the glorious RUF badge on the back. I damn near **** myself looking at the thing. I pulled up next to the driver and gave him a thumbs up, and just to play with me he gave it a little blip of the throttle and lurched forward like i was in reverse. Absolutely stunning cars. If I had the money, a R34 and a RUF turbo would be the 1st things in my garage.

I think thats a fairly good analogy.
Basically, they make some bad Porsches.

I think mugen is to honda what ruf is to porsche is more appropriate. If any of u have gran tursimo 3 they have a coupld RUF porsches if u want a simulated feel. Even in a video game they seem hella fast!
But isn't Mugen directly connected to Honda?? I thought it was to some extent so I chose Spoon because RUF is in no way connected to Porsche as far as I know. Not important, just clarifying.

and yes, Porsche makes some damn nice cars. I've grown up around them, my dad owning a 911, and my uncle currently owns a boxster, older 911 carrera 2, and a new twin turbo 911. The turbo, my friends, is a beaaaasssttt!

RUF is legally their own car manufacturer. They change the cars so much that they're no longer called Boxsters, or 911s, or even Porsches. I think the base price on their version of the Boxster is somewhere near $70,000.
Porsches are badass cars - my dad owns a 1973 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, but sadly, it's not road legal. That's what you get for not meeting exhaust specs when you ship a car over from Germany.
