i'm sorry that's how we talk around here. ruff driving basicly means that we just drive hard. i mean all over the road, in and out of traffic. speeding.. seeing what we can do. that's all.. takeing it to the limits every time.

got it. I have a vid of some retards we flamed to death on the celica boards from your area claimin to be the best drivers. They drove like complete morons. It's people like you and them that give imports a bad name.

You wanna prove you can drive take it to the track. You wanna prove you're a moron then keep on driving like that.

Not saying I wont race from a light time to time but what youre talkin about is plain stupid and Most of the people on here would back me on that. So dont try to make everyone think you're cool by claimin to be the best!

I got a ticket for pushing a dumpster back and forth across a parking lot in my 72 jeep CJ5 for about an hour. I obviously didn't know the cop was watching.

lol, mr celicagt, we are back on forth on like 4 posts. i have nothing against u, or your car. but y are u so against me. i'm saying around detroit. i'm king of the hill. we dont' have tracks here. all we have are late night street contests. where it's 1:00am and nobodys on the road. so we race at certain spots. i'm not racing. muscle cars, just other imports, and for some reason a retard who thinks his american car (caviler, grand am) is the ****. thats's all.

Tryin to chase down a white wrx with a neon green license plate frame...

I was in the local lane of the highway when I see the wrx 3 lanes away and a couple of cars ahead near the left side of the main highway.

So I proceed to exit the local lanes which are divided by those tall concrete medians, and am just starting to pop up on the merge/demerge lane on the main highway (where cars enter and exit the local lane traffic). I'm going about 105mph trying to catch this WRX that doesn't even know I'm chasing him. There are two cars in the slow lane as I'm coming on to the highway, one to my left about a car length ahead of me, and one directly to my left. The car (geo metro) in my upper left corner decides to pull into the merge lane without signalling, I might add, right in front of me so that they can exit to the local lanes. Take note that I was doing 105 and the Geo Metro filled with like 6 hispanic guys just got in front of me and they're going like 50mph. Plus there's a car in the slow lane directly to my left. So basically I'm boxed into the merge lane by some idiots that can't judge speed correctly, and some guy on my left. So I brake hard and I'm still barrelling towards the geo metro so I look right and hit the right hand shoulder to pass the guys. Either these guys are d*cks or they're just horrible drivers but it seems that they're speeding up slightly. I can't brake and get back in the merge lane because the car that was behind me in the merge lane is filling up the space that I just left. So I'm doing like 85 in the shoulder trying to pass a geo metro checking my mirrors and all this stuff coz I'm super tense and scared and when I look up I see a broken down car like 6 car lengths ahead of me in the shoulder with a person coming out of it --walking in my direction. The only thing I could do was speed up towards the broken down car, and then cut in front of the geo metro at like upwards of 95mph. I had like 2 car lenghts of space between the stopped car and the metro when I made the cut. Imagine that. Never again!

dude... yea man so many things could have gone wrong. I could have hit the metro, the guy beside me, the 4 foot tall median dividers, the lady walking in the shoulder in front of me, the broken down car in front of me, and in the end I could have ended up flipping my car and killing myself. I drive calmly now. Except for slippin smoothly inside and out of traffic sometimes during rush hour.... like going in the fast lane all the way up to the front of bumper to bumper traffic and then merging... It's a dog eat dog world out there. hehe.

i was driving back from my friend's cabin in the interior of british columbia in my old 95 corolla. i had just come over the crest of a hill and i see before me a stretch of road, straight and downhill for about 1.5km or so before curving right behind another hill. now, driving a corolla, you dont get many chances to get it up to speed, so you have to capitalise on such opportunities. i floor the accelerator and speed down the hill. the wheel began to shake in my hands as my old, more or less bald tires began losing their grip on the road as i got the car up to speed. my corolla topped out at 195km/h near the bottom of the hill. not a very impressive number by far but decent enough considering it WAS a corolla and the numbers on the speedometer end at 180. i slow down as i enter the bend and just as the road straightens out i pass a cop going the opposite direction. he busts a U-nut across the highway and pulls me over. "do you know how fast you were going?" he asks me. "no idea," i said, "100 maybe?" "don't lie to me son," he says, "you were going faster... 120 in a 90 zone." i was SO relieved. "yes, officer. that sounds about right. sorry about that." and he gives me a 'lenient' $200 fine for being 30km/h over the limit... which would have been much better than the $500 fine and liscence suspension i probably would have got if he saw me like 30 seconds earlier.

dangerous? not really, but i thought i'd throw that in there...

Let's see...work related (Paramedic, so I have a siren and redlights in my car). During morning rush hour in MA I passed half a mile of traffic on the other side of the road doing about 50 with the people on the other side of the road driving off the road. Now THATS a morning wake up for them, hehehe. Here's some advice to drivers, Police/Firefighters/EMTs/Paramedics aren't usually looking when we are responding to a call, don't try to play chicken!

Most dangerous move I've ever pulled in traffic...
It would have to be one of two things. I guess people can decide what was stupider. Cause I think they're definately stupid, and looking back at it, I have no idea what I was thinking.

First was in my old car, a G20, racing my friend's Outback. We were both on the parkway heading back home, and he starts beating me back. I'm in the right lane, and he's in the left lane. There are two cars in front of me going pretty slowly. One is in the center lane, the other is directly in front of me in the right. The one in the center lane was hugging the line to the left, the one in the right lane was hugging the line to the right. So, I floor it, the SR20 is literally crying, and I squeeze inbetween the two cars. Definately not the safest thing to do, but I did eventually beat my friend home. So uhh, yah.

Second, was in my Civic, heading to upstate NY on I-87. Two lanes of traffic, my friends and I see an old-school RX-7 pull out of some rest stop a few hundred feet in front of us. I've gotten owned by an RX-7 before, and really didn't want to take a chance with it. My friends were like, "c'mon, c'mon." So I go for it. Turns out he hasn't been really keeping up the maintennance in his car, and the turbos seemed blown, cause at 100 mph, I was still on his ***. So up ahead are a cluster of cars. Somehow, I managed to weave in between two semis, and a bunch of other cars and pass the cluster of cars. The RX-7, however, got stuck in that little cluster. That scared the **** out of me, and I haven't gone past 85 since...
