if i get compared to the fast and furious one more time im gonna catch a muder rap. that is the worst movie i have ever seen in my life. those movies are the most painful things i have ever been through , and ive had 3 rectal exams in one day. they cast such a black cloud on the entire scene it makes me sick. it gives such a negative connotation to anyone who takes pride in setting themselves and their car apart from everyone else. i dont street race, that sh*t is not cool, and if i showed up at the track with neons i would expect to be laughed at and i would kick my own a**. show cars dont go fast, and fast cars arent pretty. ive got a friend with the most beautiful eclipse ive ever seen,but i could out run him on a bike. and ive got a friend with a civic that will runs low 10's but is uglier than sin. there is a reason for this. F hollywood for ruining the scene. now whenever someone sees my car they assume im some dumbass kid, and im treated like a criminal. ive been modifing my cars since before people knew what a cat-back was. and im so sick now i want to stop and start driving a chevette. let me know if any of you guys out there feel the same.

Well lets see......you've got altezza's, red badges, ugly "H" on the sunroof, and halo projectors. In mosts people's mind that would be the essence of fast and furious. They might be trying to compliment you for your car because that's all they know from watching the movie.

I get that crap all of the time, but I don't sweat it because I know what my car is and that's all that matters.

yeah good point, i just hate that correlation. it just seems like since those movies its made everyone true look fake. kinda like the people who have a sex pistols cd and shop at abercrombie say they are punk. its just too bad there wasnt a better portrayl of the scene, but a bunch of nerds workin boring jobs and adding a part everynow and then makes for a boring movie. you are right though, i should stop sweatin it. i know what i am and i know what my car is. the car also isnt done yet. this is my third project car in 8 years. in the words of walter, "F**k it dude, let's go bowlin."

oh yeah, not to split hairs or be even more of a dousche bag, but they technically arent altezza's. there is a difference between altezza style and what ive got.

i agree with u on some of your statement...but i know plenty of fast cars that are as u said "pretty"...maybe not a lot of honda's...but i know of a lot of other cars that are fast as hell and look good..
