Sleekcivic2004 is a theif
I'm not going to sugar coat it.
Sleekcivic2004 is a thief. He bought a stock Miata ECU from me and never paid (its a long story and I don't really want to get into it). He never got back on the forum, answered my calls or emails ever.
So just a little heads up for anyone trying to sell/ buy from him.

When you ship before you get paid you run a high risk of getting ripped off. I'd say call the cops in his local area since you shipped it to him. Other than that, be smarter about selling stuff.
Also, wrong section can someone move this.

I know I am partly to blame for the incident, but I was told that the payment was already in the mail when I shipped it. I guess I trusted him to much. I sent in a report to the FBI internet fraud center.
I am not expecting anything to happen. I am just trying to warn future buyers/sellers of him.

I always say, will ship when payment received. If I dont get paid, nobody gets a part. It might seem selfish for some but it keeps you from getting screwed.

Old enough to be out of the "Dragon Ball Z" phase.
It can go both ways....
A buyer is worried about sending the money first before they get the part. There is always the chance of them getting scammed.
A seller doesn't want to send a part before they get the money, for fear of being scammed.
I am not wanting sympathy, nor wanting to be chastised. I am just merely informing any possible buyers/sellers of Sleekcivic2004 for future transactions.
