Progress Coilovers
Why does it seem like when you order from dezod you get the coilovers in 2-3 weeks but when you order from truehonda they say 6-8 weeks???
*update* recieved 16 weeks later; review on page 3.

I order mine from true Honda 2 1/2 month ago and was told 4 -6 weeks ended up changing the order for the eibach full coilovers. True Honda isn't at fault progress failed to let there vender's know they were out of parts. they just kept saying they were still being built. when i contacted them my self they told me there coilovers where on back order. I really don't know the answer to your question but Dezod probably sells more of thees than true Honda so he might just get his orders done first. true Honda has a way better $ than dezod on the progress coilovers , so if you were to get them in 6-8 weeks its worth it.

TH is probably buying through a WD and we are buying direct from Progress.
Progress ran into some hiccups with internal components on the coilovers creating some HUGE back order lists.
Furthermore, we have pricing guidlines to obide by because we are direct. They do not have to be enforced on TH's side. Hence why, they can offer lower pricing publically advetised.
Edit: If we sold at WD (his advetised price), Progress would suspend our account.

If they had parts for his set of coilovers shouldn't they have the parts for mines? Progress should give us a free sway bar or tie bar for the wait. =)

you going to be waiting a wile. i waited 2 1/2 months when Edd asked about them last week they said they were still being built. Fu_ _ progress i changed my order.they should have said something from the beginning when they were asked how long they were going to take instead they told me 2-4 weeks

Not to worry (btw this is Eddie at Truehonda and our account is going crazy now on 7thgen), I keep an updated lilst on what progress is doing. They said they have the Cans for the coilovers and are starting to piece them together. The cans were the big problem so hopefully we are looking at less than a month out.
Sort of hate to do this, but I had a really bad experience with Progress. Their coilovers were not quality, the threaded sleeves rusted within the first week and a half of having them on my car, they were noisy, didn't handle like I thought they should, and their customer support was not helpful. I actually had to end up disputing my credit card charge to get my money back. Kind of a crappy deal, but I guess I learned something.

I've heard a lot of good things about progress on RSX's and i dont think theres a big difference with civics. Kinda sucks to hear that after waiting about 11 weeks and i still have NOT recieved them
I guess im going to have to buy some sort of spray on sealant so it wont rust.
