Last week I tried all week to get a lift at the auto shop here at West Point so I could install my Goldline Springs and Ingalls Camber Kit on my civic. On Thursday I was talking with an NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) who I worked with last time and he suggested that I not lower my car until I left here. He told me another NCO here on post has a lowered 7th gen coupe and he ripped his muffler right off going through the new metal security gates. I had thought about this being a problem before but I thought I would be ok. However I know the guy he's talking about, and although his car was lowered a little more than mine would have been his exhaust definitely didn't hang as low as mine. I have an HKS Hi-Power Rear section so I probably would have caused some serious damage my first time coming back onto post. I guess I'll have to weight six months until I graduate before I install them. It just really stinks because everytime I open my trunk everything I need to drop my civic is sitting right there. Oh well se la vi.

I would drive over the metal gate thingys you are talking about and then just stop there and get out with a tape measurer and see how much clearance you are going to have and then take off 1.75 inches and then you'll see where you'll be after you drop it. My greddy hangs down pretty low as well and before I got the kit put on I only it it once. So you might be alright, just measure it out.

i doubt you will have a problem with scraping. goldlines shouldnt drop your car that low. i have the hks exhaust also with a 2.25" drop and i can still clear a few bumps by going over them straight ahead.

you could just drop the front...
thats the tough part anyways. the rear is much easier than the front.
altho i dont know if you want to have that charger look to your civic. it might look ok on a coupe, but you have a sedan, so i dont know. hehe
