LIP KITS

Sorry yall....computer is def giving me problems.
anyways, let me say this again....
I have a 2002 civic ex coupe and now I have begun down the path of modifying.....As of now I want to add a body kit on but I found several lip kits online that are supposed to be JDM, or are titled as mugen. My question is, whats the main difference between a lip kit and a body kit? My assumption was that a lip kit seemed to be 2 or 3 inches of added body to the car, as I saw no styling at all. Do lip kits just bolt on under the bumpers? Also, do you guys know of any great sites besides allbodykits.com that I can find some good lip kits?
