i want turbo soooooooooooo bad!

i want turbo so bad i might consider getting a visa credit card from my credit union bank! lowest rate apr and everything and its a set apr at 12.57! all i know is that i want turbo and it is killing me just sitting here trying to save up 3,000$! i am on the verge of just getting the visa card and just charging it and paying it off! but i would pay double the amount i owe on my payment so if it was lets say 24$ bucks for the this month i would instead pay 48$!

I need opinions and help people? what do you think i should do?

i feel your urges. i am considering selling my one possesion that love as much as my car..my camcorder, it took me 1 year to save up for it and another 3 months to get the fisheye lens, the cam. itself costs $1500 and the lens $650. i figure i may get around $1800 for it, so if a extreme kit costs $3200 or so, i'm gonna save up half and then decide if i want to do it or not.

Man you don't want to charge the turbo at 12% interest. It'll take you 20 years to pay it off. Either sell some stuff to speed up the saving, work some overtime, or just be patient... if you want it, you'll get it in due time.

yea don't do it, only spend 3000 don't spend 4-5000 on a turbo when you can spend the extra money later. i think they when you buy stuff for our cars we should have the money first instead of using credit. its better in the long run

I'd say do it if you can afford the monthly payments.

You might also want to take a look at those credit card offers in the mail. Some give you a few months wihtout interest when you open an account. Just remember to READ THE FINE PRINT. All of it. That's where they get you if you're not careful.

one thing i learned from all my friend's parents that has to go the bankruptcy route, don't trust credit cards! they take money, and ask questions later. especially if money's tight and the money is just right. i never spend more than 1200 on my credit card (that was only once too, other wise, my regular monthly spend on my card has dropped from 800 to 400 to now 200 a month)

like enjoys poking at you at the worstt times, that 3k on the credit card could mean driving a repaired car or sitting home with no ride if you got in an accident. plus, 12% is waaay too high. my friend got a 0% apr card for 6 months to buy his sr20.. he won't listen, i wonder how long that's going to last...

Don't charge it to credit I'm sure you can do without the turbo for the little bit longer it will take you to save up for it. Find another job working somewhere at night or over the weekend to make up te cash. If your that hard up for some cash, go sell some sperm

That's a great plan. You'll have money to spare if you part your car and get a turbo. Money back!

Dude, don't get yourself in serious debt. Just start saving up for a turbo. You will be kicking yourself in the *** in a few months when you'll want to buy something simple, but you can't because you have to make the monthly payment to the credit card co.

If you charge $3000 at 12% that comes out to $360 a year in interest. Divide that into twelve months and your paying $30 a month for the privelage of getting the turbo early. Most credit cards will put your payment barely over that just so you never pay it off. My question to you is: If it's hard to come up with the money now, is it any easier to pay off that big debt later? It boils down to your personal choice, either way your going to have to earn that money. Charge it and you'll have to earn even more!
