wow,where to start
alright. first off props to this forum. its great that people put something together strictly for 7th gen. anyways, its been close to a year that ive had my civic and i cant decide where to start. the way i see it i have three choices. a)just go with the general bolt ons,b) get a turbo, with minor internal adjustments or c)get a new engine(either way it gonna void the warranty so i dont care much, plus d17's are pretty cheap or at least thats what i've been reading). and prior to today, i thought b18's were far superior than k20's and not illegal(how wrong i was).i haven't gotten intake or exhaust just for the simple fact that im not sure if it would be compatible with the new turbo/engine, whichever i eventually decide to go with, depending on responses.thanks in advance.
ps: i've got a 2002 civic dx coupe.
pps:how does Canadian models translate to American models?

dx over there is the same here. the only differences are that here we have the EX and in canada it's the Si, and the Si here is the SiR in canada.
i think either choice, turbo or k20, is good. just don't expect to get any power from simple just bolt-ons on the d17...good luck with whatever you go with

no doubt the k20 is the way to go... putting a turbo doesn't have as much potential as a k20... because even after getting a k20 you can turbo that **** too..
Its a celebration bitches!

how about work on your suspention and rims first, then a k20 swap, then turbo that biatch, and leave it like that,
ps you dx is the lowest base model, stock it is slow and doesn't have power anything, but in turn it is lighter...

well due to recent incidents, im gonna have to do things *** backwards. my bumper got into a fight so i have to get a new one. but for the price(700$,inc.part,paint,labor) of an OEM bumper, its not worth it so ive decided to go with the full body kit, which will put off the k20 for quite some time. it wont happen for a couple months cause some other money troubles came up, but as soon as its done, ill grab my bro's camara and post a few pics
