Closeup Pics of the Wilwood Kit

Are 2001 LX, DX, HX owners still not able to get the Wilwood kit? I want to put the kit on the silver car too (....someday) but I haven't looked on their website lately.

Still got the tiny little drums in the back !!

OK... I read on honda-tech that the wilwood calipers don't have dust guards in them, so you aren't really supposed to use them on an every day basis... does the kit come with anything that says something of this sort, or have you any idea how often they need to be cleaned out? Just curious....

Thanks for the info

Let me try to answer everybody else's questions too:

Riceburner, they are so far superior to the stock CX brakes--with the sticky Paradas they can really haul it down to a stop!

Boilermaker1, I think you are probably right because after 2 days there is a visible buildup of dust already. I'll have to get the literature from sonny boy to see exactly what Wilwood says about it.

Gotti, the retail is around $710 but most everybody gets it cheaper than that. Sonny boy got for $580 (and then it is also usually wise to go ahead and get the optional braided stainless steel hose kit for $60).

KeNsHiN & XxJDMCivicxX...yes they are GT-C's...here is a b-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-g closeup

I believe both the AEM and Wilwood Rotors are the same size (it's either 12 or 12.8", can't remember, but they're the same), difference is that the Wilwoods also come with 4 pot calipers.

does all aftermarket brake kits have significant brake dust build up? does this kit fit all civ's since summit racing has just one part number that spans all civ gens?
