Rep Power: 0 kit with no drop...
hey
i want to put the buddy club kit on my car (pics in members rides) but i don't know if i want to put lowering springs because where I live the roads suck and the bridges are messed up too. Now most people would say coilovers but I heard those suck worse than lowering springs, I also WANT air bag suspension but I don't have enough money not even close...
do you think it would look f@cked up with buddy club and no drop??

Rep Power: 293 Yea, I have a kit with no drop temporarily because I broke one of my rear GC coilovers. The car looks wayyyy too freaking high now. I could tell right away when i came to pick my car up from the shop. I am now getting some goldline springs cuz the deal is too hard to pass up.

Rep Power: 290 sometimes u cant always have it all at the sametime, especially if u come upon a good deal like i did. im saving up for full coilovers or maybe even air bags cuz here in pa once it starts to snow, ur out of luck and i dont wanna be putting my car up left and right to adjust it. also speed bumps everywhere

Rep Power: 393 you have badd roads so worried about dropping your car but yet you want 19s?
if you want bags really cheap hit up 'spanky' he's selling his air ride for $1400.

Rep Power: 0 i dunno, these guys on the site, c they know their ****. if your like me, and just wanna have a good looking car, for yourself and hey if joe blow knows nothing about the import scene (most people fall into this category) they'll say 'Sweet ride' anyone going to disagree? i got an r34 kit going on and i'm not droppin it, then again my plan is (and shoulda been all along) to get oem kit and drop it like its hot and go back to norm springs in the winter. let meknow what u guys think of my theory

Rep Power: 393 its not so much pushin it but if your worried about the badd roads, i would worry about having thicker tires more than lowering the car. badd roads + skinny tires = cracked rim
badd roads + dropped car = bumpy ride(nothing nice shocks cant fix).
so ya if i was worried about the roads i would just get 215-40-18s and a 1.75" drop. some konis if you want a good ride. thats basically what i have and the streets of ghetto LA arent the greatest either. it does get bumpy on badd road but ya thats cause i'm on stock shocks. the setup is perfect with a kit. its not slammed but its low enough. just make sure to take driveways and such at an angle.
since you have a kit, you might be able to even get away with a 1.3" drop and have it looking decent but i personally think the setup i have now would be perfect for you. i myself want to go like .5" lower
i personally prefer cars with a drop. it looks way too high without one even if you do have a kit. n i say just move to sunny cali so you dont have to worry about winter
