Failed DMV Inespection!
They failed me because of my "blue" headlights! THose bastards! I have stock Headamps with Silverstar "white" headlighta! They're not even that bright! Sh|t, I even have trouble seeing at night!
I got a dumba$$ inspector. He was all "wow that's a nice ride" and then he goes and stabs me in the a$$. He was just jealous I had such a nice looking 3 year old car, while he drives his 20 year old beat-up volvo!
Dammit. He was all nice and tehn he asked teh mileage, and he was like wow you got that in 2000 and you only got that many minles? (14300)
He probably got jealous of my NJIT sticker and City Hall Employee parking permit sticker. He must've been thinking "damn this kid's got a phat ride, working for the government, and going to a college! I'm only a retarded reject who works at the DMV! How pathetic I am. .

Rep Power: 0 You should have gotten a little card thingy with the lights. I just put mine Sylvanian ones in and they have a DOT number thing on a little card.
If you have that you just show it to the police or the inspector and tell them sorry but they are street legal.
I have a whole packet of stuff in my car now because of all the stuff I have added to my car.

my friends dad ownes the toyota dealsership here and he heard that i got a ticket for driving with an expired inspection sticker earlier in the day. so he calls me so he could inspect it (aka slap a sticker on it) but the head tech was there and he checked it and failed me. its cool cus i didnt pay. he failed me cus i have yellow turn signals, blue toucan xenon bulbs, window drop, and foglights not wired to the highs and lows. i then took my car to a friend of my dads and i got the sticker[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

First mistake was taking it to the DMV. Second, you should know your local laws. And third, Valvoline does inspections also, they usually have young kids and younger adults working there.

Rep Power: 334 Listen, I may be a little ricey, but that doesn't mean I don't have dignity. I'd rather get a legal inspection that'll catch everything, than cutting corners which might lead to bad things down the road.

Every year it must be renewed, and you get Inspection Sticker to stick on your windshield. Premium Member

I'm kinda glad I live in Canada now, cause we have nothing like this ..... all we have is an emissions test and you only get that done when your car is a certian age ......And like Baghead said, I highly doubt that he was jealous of you ......... But you just keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better
