Kaminari question..help

Okay guys I'm getting my taxes done rapid refund at h&r block tomorrow. I plan on using all I get back to get the Kaminari kit. Okay, help me out here. My only worry is that it might be too low. My car has 17's and is dropped with Goldline springs (1.75 drop) How much clearance am I gonna be looking at? Is it gonna be too low? Thanks in advance for advice.

P.S. My UK Tails will be here in 2 weeks...Greg is da man

I have 15's with a 60 aspect and the goldlines. I have the Kaminari as well. I am about 7 to 9 inches off the ground. the only time i groud out is when i go off a steep ramp from like the gas station to the street or city driveway tothe street. or backing into a spot.

Check me out in member rides. The problems aren't bad enough for me to say NAY. I like mine

Nah, both Rider (Eric) and myself are dropped on gold lines with the xenon kit and the clearance is fine, nice and low, but not too low. Don't do your taxes at H and R Block. You can e-file them yourself online through irs.gov. AIM me and I'll give you details, btw I am a certified tax preparer, I've been doing it three years running. Don't pay someone 50-100 plus interest to do it for you, trust me on this, it's easy.

yeah and if you e-file, you will get your refund in like 7-10 days....H&R block is a ripoff.....if you have to have someone do it, go anywhere else.....please.

Okay, so I figured out I'm better off with E-File, but how is the clearance gonna be on the sides if I get the kaminari? andyman97, on the front part of your sides it looks like you have 2 inches of clearance in the pics. Is that how it really is, or is the pic just making it look that way?

Dude, I've probably got close to 3 inches of clearance. I don't know exactly how it is with the kaminari skirts but you should be more than fine. I wouldn't even worry about it. In fact, ak had stock wheels with a drop and he still wasn't even that low. I haven't scraped on speed bumps or potholes at all come to think of it.

Oh, and if you're going with gold lines, assuming you have a coupe, right, get the SEDAN springs. Trust me on this. I've been around the block on this many times with jeff from gold line, vnlilman (suspension guru mod) and rob at tornactive. The sedan springs will give you the best looking drop on your coupe.
