Sup everyone,
Pretty soon, I'll be ordering the Kaminari kit and some 18" rims. I was checking out some pictures of cars with the kit and my friend said that my car would probably look too high after I put 18s on it even with the kit. I think that the picture on the Kaminari web site looks fine. Aren't those 18s on that 2k1? Just thought I'd get a 2nd opinion before I place the orders. Any and all input (good and bad) is appreciated.

yeah they look like 18's. i have the kaminari kit and 18's also. i havent put the kit or wheels on yet because of the reason that the 18's would look dumb if the car wasnt dropped. it would look like a monster truck.

i just had my skunk2's installed yesterday and dropped the car 2 inches, i will post a link when i take some new pics.
so get yourself some skunk2 or ground control coilovers and slam it to the ground...if you dont drag it your a fa*ot

i have the kaminari kit with 18" konig rated r rims and 215/40/18 tires, i think it looks great. The dimensions come out to about the same as the factory rims and tires, a tad bigger . dropping the car 2 inches might be pushing it, i was thinking about taking an inch off. i definetly prefer th 18's though, i had 17's on and it looked like crap without a drop.

yeah send me a pic. cause im getting 17 in konig traffiks and 215/45-17 Kuhmo's. but i dont want to drop my car cause there are hella speed bumps here in San Antonio...

hey, thanks for the pics mpcivic.
I have Ground Control coilovers right now. My car is dropped about 3 inches.
I know that I'd have to lift it up alot to fit the 18s, but that's cool.
I've been through all the members rides and seen most of the members that have the kit, but iIf anybody else has pics, feel free to post em. thanks

I have the kaminari kit with 17" rims well had I sold my rims cus they looked like oller skate wheels after the kit wasput on are you getting te hood and wing too or just the kit if getting wing and hood read my thread kaminari problems!

Read your thread man, that sucks. I was kinda iffy on wheather or not I was gonna get the hood and wing too, but now I think I'll definitely hold off on those two items. Is that hood really bad, or will the sanding and clear coat fix the problem?
