New equipment installed

Finally, my headunit, amp, sub, and remote start are installed!!

Here's some pics...

Remote Start (notice the carbon fiber keypad)

My JVC Kameleon Headunit during the day...

At night....

My MTX Audio amp...

And last....my Xtant 12" sub in Xtant box...

I had all of this installed for $40. I am really happy with my new setup, for one sub, that thing really kicks. The guys at the shop also rewired all of my neons and strobes because they said it started to spark when they were unwiring it to take the center console out

Tell me what you think

Yeah, $40 for the whole install was nuts.

I thought i was gonna be like $150.

I also love the Kameleon, I like how it appears there is nothing there when the car is turned off.

It'd probably be best to ask the installer since he know the product better than we all do. Forty dollars is insane! How much was the remote starter?

I'm not sure what the remote starter was, I got it as a gift. Um, lemme check the retail on it online...I found it for $178.56 online.

I have a JVC kameleon in my car that I am selling. . . yes you can start the car without the radio turning on. There's a switch on the upper right or left of the remote that if you hold for 2 secs it will turn off the radio and "hide" it. It won't turn back on until you press the up or down arrows on the deck when it's flat, or the same button on the remote.

I also have a question for you: Do you have the decks power wire directly wired to your battery or spliced off of your 12V constant wire or ignition wire?
