Let it rain!
My town has passed a total outside water useage ban. Sucks! I can't wash my car anymore. I don't want to go to the carwash 'cause they cost me $ and I don't have too much of that right now. Solution? Leave the car out in the rain. Then bring it in and dry it.

Heres a better solution... Wash the car in your garage. Just put up some tarps around the car and go at it. If you have a drain in your garage floor, it's even better, if not... you may want to get some rubber mats and then just push it all out when your done.
Or do it at 3 am....

i hate water restrictions. i just go to the hand car wash around the block from me and spend the 10 bucks.

Well paying job!

Well paying job! Hehe don't worry we've had a ban since April. Even when it rained like crazy. Reason why is that we didn't have alot of snow this year so we a very low on water. Soon they are gonna put governers on our homes to monitor our water usage, which will suck cause were gonna get charged alot of money for going over the set meter

Okay, I did it. I went out on the highway and went about 90mph for a while in the rain. That did the trick. Cleaned everything off. Then I parked outside so that the rain would wash away any dribble from the highway driving. Then I moved the car into the garage and dried it. Worked like a charm. The car is no very clean. I'm happy.
The town I live in has been on water ban since last November & before that it was all last summer. Now the entire state of Maryland is & the mayor of my county said that if it doesn't get any better over the next few weeks, they'll fine households for using too much water. It's scary, but I've learned to deal w/ going to the car wash.
