Hi, i have a 2k2 Civic, blue, and i am seaking sponsership from a certain company , what would one need to do? do i just go and ask em "hey will you sponser my car?" please help me out.

will first you need to build your car.....I dont mean lowered and cleared headlights, I mean about 10k worth of investment... then you start asking sponsors......

after you spend about 10k on our civics...... what the hell do you need a sponsor for after that!!! What can they contribute after 10k of aftermarket parts!!!

U know that one of the hardest things is to get a sponsorship. U said u wanted to get sponsored by a certain company, well most likely they won't want to. So if they don't, just go to the next and then the next and then the next. What also helps is if u have a team or are in a club. Like I'm in Lonestarcivics.com and we are about to get sponsored by Nitrous Express, they just need to know what all parts we need and they are handing them over, as long as we put NX on our car somewhere, and advertise for them at the track(we don't race illegally or try not to) or at shows. So I guess what I am trying to say the best thing would to be fix up your car a little. Then get a team or join a club. Then get your team/club out there and let people see you. Go to shows and maybe just maybe u will get a sponsorship.

What i was planning on was to ask for sponsership from Pepsi "Blue" being the civic blue looks a lot like it. I could convince them to give/get me parts and then i could take it to car shows with Pepsi on the side or anywhere on the car for that matter right? except i just found out last night, pepsi already has a "pepsi blue" car that they take to HIN and Import Revolution. God Dam it. Any other places that i should try?

u do know that they are having a national comptetion for Pepsi Blue, and there are probably shops out Cali and Florida trying their buts off for that so they can get exposure to the shop. I would turn my car into a Pepsi Blue car unless u knew you were gonna win.

U are not going to be able to get a sponsorship by yourself. If a company like Coke wanted a show car then they will buy their own, and not pay to fix up someone elses ride. If u want a car like that, find out when they are gonna get rid of it cause they just send those cars to the chompers at junk yards. Then when u find out tell them u will right a jingle for them and in return they give u the car. That's what happened with the Cavalier that Super Sport put together. Some girl got it for writing a song for them to use at shows. And that Cavalier had $15k worth of work put into it.

large companys usually have sponsorship applications. If they dont, make a resume about your car. Include shows you won/entered, mods, system, etc.... Make it professional looking too, kinda like a job resume.

I was hoping for them to sponser me to put stuff on my car. So now i have to put stuff (with my own money [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG] ) and then tell them to sponser me? this is no good, any other alternatives?
