Turbo + 75 Shot?
hitek01mike's ride
Um... Wouldn't that kill the motor without any other internal modifications?
I would think that it would at least blow a head gasket. I wonder what psi he's running?
BS or not?

I want to see pics of the turbo. You can only run low psi on our cars. It'd probably be alright to spray with that setup.........if its not bs. Since there is no intercooler the nitrous would cool things down a bit. But i wouldnt be sprayin a whole lot just to try and save your motor. I would think that after a while you might run into some problems on the inside. But this is just me thinkin im sure someone else can shed some more light on the subject who knows a lot more about the internals and stuff.

You could be right... I thought I remember in the DIY that it had to be dry, but the DIY is now a dead link, so I can't check it.
ok guys heres the story on my turbo, i was running the garret t3 with custom everything but im running an air to water intercooler not a front mount, so the air runs through a box (basically) then into the throttle body so i took the nitrous and ran it into the reservoir for the water. all it does is cool down the water it isnt actually being shot into the motor because that would be tooo much for that motor to handle. i honestly think that this motor can t handle much more then what im throwing at it now. so thats the story ill have pics up in a couple days to show you guys how its all hooked up. but if you have any questions talk to "turbo performance" in van nuys california they are the ones who got the job done.

Wow, nice. I'll be making an air-to-water intercooler too since there's no room to route the charge pipes and still keep your A/C. Definately share the knowledge. Keep the conversation going!
I am also working on a turbo set up. If you are seriously interested pm me and I will give you the full detail. I can get all the parts required and ready to use kit for $2700 shipped. If you want to know more on a fully working and all the parts turbo pm me or call me.

Thats hella sweet, tell us what its like to drive a turbo 7th gen. One more thing, why do you have one of the nitrous hoses coming out of your windshield wiper fluid?? This is boggling my mind.
That is so awsome man. I can't wait until mine is finished. I am working on an air to air intercooler. I already disscused away to make it work with bob from turbo performance. Is it a realy big difference in power or what? How many pounds of boost are you running? This is just the proof we needed to show everybody we weren't lying. Who is laughing now. 7thGens on the rise.
the nitrous goes into the winshield wiper fluid because thats where the water is kept for the air to water intercooler. The nitrous cools the water so it makes the turbo run cooler

What kind of fuel system upgrades do you have? What kind of manifold is that? Looks like a header. What kind of wastegate do you have? Where is the blow off valve? What brand? What kind of T3 are you running? Thanks.
the header is custom bent manifold that was pollished and the blow off valve is actually not in this picture that upper pipe that is wrapped in thermal wrap is getting pollished with the blow off valve as we speak. this turbo is a garret t3
